Dear 18 year old me,
Today is graduation day.
From this day on you are officially an adult. You’re going to start college soon.
You’re going to meet a man that will break your heart into a hundred pieces.
Then you’re going to meet a man that will put it back together and show you what true love is.
You’ll have a whirlwind romance, one I’m happy to say that 10 years later is still going very strong.
You will be told, “you’re dying.” More times than I can count.
You will face things meant to break you, but come out stronger than ever.
You’ll learn how to walk again.
You’ll have 4 amazing children. They will test you beyond belief. But you’ll love them more than you can express in words.
You will run your own business.
You will find your voice and use it to defend and fight for those that cannot.
You have your whole future ahead of you.
Everything I never even considered has become your future, and I love it.
Just remember to breathe as it comes!
Remember this:
YOU ARE A SURVIVOR.
Signed,
Future You.
